Ghacem Ltd., Ghana's leading cement manufacturer, held its prestigious Customer Appreciation Night (CAN) 2024 on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Accra Marriott Hotel.
The event, themed “Cementing Sustainable Partnerships”, celebrated Ghacem’s commitment to fostering long-term relationships with its loyal customers and distributors while advancing sustainable cement solutions.
Awellam Company Limited was crowned Overall Best Distributor for Ltd. in Ghana, as he marked a historic win for the company.

Having placed Second Best Distributor in 2022 and 2023, this victory reflects Awellam’s dedication and hard work over the years. For their exceptional performance,
Awellam Company Limited received an award plaque and other prizes including a Eicher 6018 truck to commemorate this achievement.
Other winners included Monoplant, which emerged the Overall Best Direct Customer in Ghana, recognising its outstanding contribution to Ghacem’s success over the past year.
The awards also honoured distributors and customers in categories such as Tema and Takoradi Factories, Regional Sales and Depot Performance, Long Service Awards, and others.
Over 50 distributors and customers received awards during the event, celebrating their contributions to Ghacem’s continued leadership in the Ghanaian market.

Dr. Frank Huber, Managing Director of Ghacem Ltd., lauded the winners for their remarkable performance and reiterated the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality cement to meet Ghana’s evolving construction needs.

The event brought together key stakeholders, including Dr. Ishmael Yamson, Ehunabobrim Prah Agyensaim VI, Mr. Kwasi Kyere and other distinguished guests.
