Delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Sehwi Juaboso Constituency have expressed strong support for former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, stating that he deserves another opportunity to lead the party into the 2028 general elections.
The endorsement came during Dr. Bawumia’s visit to Juaboso as part of his #WinWithBawumia tour across the Western North Region, aimed at strengthening grassroots structures and energising the party ahead of the January 31 presidential primaries.
Party executives, opinion leaders, and enthusiastic supporters attended the engagement, praising Dr. Bawumia’s humility, innovation, and dedication to national development.
They credited him with driving digitalisation, implementing economic reforms, and advancing social interventions that have positively impacted the lives of many Ghanaians.
The delegates argued that Dr. Bawumia’s performance in government, coupled with his unifying leadership, makes him the most suitable candidate to lead the NPP now and beyond the primaries.
In response, Dr. Bawumia thanked the delegates for their support and reaffirmed his commitment to uniting the party and securing victory in the 2028 elections.
He urged members to stay focused and work collectively toward a common goal.
