The Black Queens of Ghana will face England’s Lionesses in an international friendly in December 2025.
The game which is scheduled to be played at the St. Mary’s Stadium in Southampton will come as a strong test for Ghana who are returning from their bronze-winning performance in Morocco.
The Black Queens are set to return to action in October where they will face Egypt in the final phase of the qualifiers for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Kim Lars Bjorkegren’s side played at the last continental tournament where they finished in third place behind Nigeria and Morocco.
After taking on Egypt, the team will be back in action again with a friendly against the current European champions lined up for them.
The game will also be the first-ever meeting between Ghana and England at the senior international level of women’s football.
Bjorkegren will also use the opportunity to fine tune his team for the upcoming tasks ahead.
