US President Donald Trump lashes out at the UK and other countries, telling them to "go get your own oil" from the Strait of Hormuz.
"You'll have to start learning how to fight for yourself, the USA won't be there to help you anymore, just like you weren't there for us,"Â he writes in a Truth Social post.
US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth says the "upcoming days will be decisive" and that more vessels are travelling through the Strait of Hormuz.
Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti oil tanker carrying millions of barrels of crude oil has been hit near Dubai, with officials blaming Iran for the strike.
The 24 crew aboard are safe, and the blaze is under control - BBC Verify examines the damage.
New strikes and interceptions are reported in Israel, Iran and the UAE, with multiple people injured from falling debris in Dubai
In five weeks of war, thousands of people have been killed - the vast majority in Iran and Lebanon.
