In a powerful call to inspire young minds, the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry, CEM Christ to the Rural World Outreach organized a transformative two-day event, “Cape Coast for Christ Youth Empowerment and Skills Training” in the Central Regional capital.
The event featured influential speakers and sought to equip Cape Coast youth with integrity, purpose, and leadership principles in alignment with Christian values.
Speaking at the event, Dr Kwabena Asenso-Okyere, founder of BeLED For Christ, emphasized the importance of awakening a sense of purpose. He urged the youth to live with intention, pursue effectiveness in their chosen careers, and embrace a Christ-centred lifestyle.
Dr Kwabena Asenso-Okyere also took the youth through valuable insights on value-based leadership and life skills, underscoring integrity as essential for building a strong foundation for the future.
At the Nyakomase Senior High School, also in the Central Region, BeLED for Christ held the “iWILL” transform essay and speech contest hosted by Nyankomase Senior High School which was designed to nurture skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and public speaking.
The competition brought together students from Nyankomase SHS, Mankessim Senior High School, and Aggrey Memorial School. The contest encouraged participants to showcase their ideas and develop their leadership potential.
The contest concluded with a prize ceremony that celebrated the achievements of the top three contestants. Patiaso Cassandra of Aggrey Memorial Zion School won the first prize. She was given a cash prize and a certificate. All the other contestants were also awarded with certificates.
