A retired Supreme Court Judge and former Chairman of the Electoral Commission; Justice V.C.R.A.C Crabbe will deliver a lecture on Thursday April 18, 2013, to mark 20 years of Ghana’s return to democracy.
This year marks 20 years since Ghana returned to constitutional rule after 11 years of military adventurism.
During this period, Ghana has held six successful multi-party elections which have been acclaimed internationally as peaceful and relatively credible.
To commemorate and analyze Ghana’s Democracy and Governance standing, the Centre for Democratic Development (CDD)- Ghana, will tonight hold its 9th “Kronti ne Akwamu” (democracy and governance) lecture at the British Council Hall, Accra.
The lecture will be shown live on Joy News on MultiTV at 6.00pm.
