Ghana captain Andre Dede Ayew was named the Samsung best player in their Group A opener against Cameroon on Sunday at the Africa Youth Championship in Rwanda.
The 18-year-old snatched the equalizer for the Satellites on 37 minutes when he rose above his marker to score.
The Lorient midfielder also set-up winger Abeiku Quansah inside the box but the latter's connection went straight into the arms of the Cameroonian goalkeeper.
Dede dazzled with his jinky dribbles and enthralling skills against a robust and physical Cameroonian side.
Rwanda's Jean Baptiste Mugiraneza was also named the outstanding player in the tournament's against Mali.
Both players were awarded Samsung phones Caf's media official Nicholas Musonye.
Samsung is the official sponsor of the 16th African Youth Championship.
Ghana must win their next game against Mali on Wednesday to brighten their chances of advancing in the competition.
