Two men who are claiming responsibility for a pregnancy will soon be required to take a DNA test. Police in the Volta Region say this is the only way to end the paternity feud between the two. Both men claim responsibility for the pregnancy and even though the woman in the middle of the controversy has chosen one man as being responsible, the other will not agree. One of them reported the matter to the police. But the Regional Commander DCOP David Ampah-Bennin says his outfit is overwhelmed by the case and has warned them to stop fighting until a DNA test is conducted. “The woman in question was pregnant so the boy friend who was supposed to be the father of the unborn baby gave her some money to abort the pregnancy. This woman wittingly did not abort the pregnancy but gave the pregnancy to another man,” he narrated. According to him, the new man after renting an apartment for the lady and her new born baby was shocked when the lady told him he is not the father of the baby.
