An officiating minister of the lord has declared that the late Efo Kodjo Mawugbe is in heaven.Rev. Dr. Nii Amoo Darku made the declaration at the playwrights' funeral which has just ended at the forecourt of the State House.The funeral was attended by several dignitaries including Ministers of state.Rev Amoo Darku said "I can assure you that Efo is in the bosom of the lord," calling on others to also determine their fate while they are alive today.He recounted his long relationship with the award-winning playwright, adding, he was even with him by his sick bed.Several tributes from different personalities including his wife, children and the National Theatre Board, where he was its director were read.The Chairman of the National Theatre Board, Dr Alexander Agordoh in his tribute described Efo Kodjo as a dedicated and selfless man as well as a great asset for Ghana's theatre industry.He said, "Efo bowed out at the zenith of his career when the applauds were loudest."
