The NDC is likely to sanction Ningo-Prampram parliamentary aspirant, Samuel George Nartey for what the Greater Accra Regional chair of the party says was his bad conduct during Saturday's primaries.
Claims by him that his name and thousand others were removed from the register triggered unrest and violence in the constituency.
His claims have been contradicted by Greater Accra Regional Chairman, Ade Coker. According to him, Sam George’s name is on the register describing the allegation as “infantile”.
Mr. Coker told Joy News the party had to put the primary in the Ningo-Prampram constituency on hold on the basis of a report that an aspirant’s name was not found on the register.
This was later proven to be false, he indicated.

The Regional Chairman said Sam George would be invited and shown evidence of his name being captured by the register.
After that has been proven to him, Mr. Coker said the aspirant would be referred to the disciplinary committee of the party.
"Disciplinary action would be taken against him if found to have caused the commotion there following his ‘false alarm”, he indicated.
But Sam George has vehemently defended his claims. He said the Chairman is rather relying on the provisional register in denying his claims.
Meanwhile, the aspirant has reported an alleged kidnapped of two of his aides to the police.
He has also shown a swollen face to the media which he said was an assault on him caused by a supporter of his opponent, E.T. Mensah.
Interestingly, the constituency youth organiser has filed an assault complaint against Sam George.
