The second round of the First Capital plus Premier League commences this weekend after a month’s break.
Seven out of eight matches will be honored on matchday 16 with the Hearts of Oak vs Ashantigold match postponed due to the Phobians continental engagement.

The top liner of this matchday is the game at Kpando between Hearts of Lions and Kumasi Asante Kotoko where the Kpando side will be looking to avenge their 4-0 drabbing at the hands of Kotoko in Kumasi.
Kotoko have been unbeaten in the last eight games in the league after suffering defeat on match day seven to Ashantigold.
Five of the last eight games have been under newly appointed coach David Duncan which has left the Porcupines in fifth place, seven points behind leaders Ashantigold.
Hearts of Lions have been impressive at home themselves staying unbeaten in all their seven games at home in the first round winning four and drawing three.
In other fixtures:
WAFA will travel to Wa to play as guests of W.A All Stars. The corresponding fixture ended 0-0. Both teams will have to do without a couple of players who are on international duty with the Black Satellites. Samuel Tetteh from WAFA and Joseph Adjei and Kofi Yeboah from Wa All Stars.
Inter Allies who are without Joseph Aidoo, Patrick Kpozo and Prosper Kasim will play as hosts to Berekum Chelsea at the Tema Sports Stadium desperate to pick the three points after losing 2-1 away to the Sunyani based side.
Medeama, buoyed by their eleven goal hitman, Nathaniel Asamoah (pictured) travel to Sunyani to face bottom side B.A United who have recorded victories in their last two home games.The Sunyani side are five points from safety and as a result every point will be priceless for their premier league survival.
12th placed Bechem United travel to Sekondi to play Hasaacas after securing a 2-0 victory over the Sekondi based side in Sunyani. The ranks of the Sunyani side has been boosted by the signing of Cofie Bekoe who signed from Libyan side Ittihad. Noah Martey has been impressive for Bechem United this season scoring six goals.
It is second versus fifth when Aduana play as hosts to Liberty Professionals.
Three points separate this side and there is little to separate these sides. The corresponding fixture ended 1-0 in favor of the Dansoman side. Aduana have increased their firepower for the second round by signing Yahaya Mohammed and he is one to watch in the league.
Wonder club Accra Great Olympics have lived to their wonder billing so far this season by engaging the services of former internationals; Richard Kingson, Godwin Attram and Dan Quaye.
The Accra side have added Eric Bekoe to their fold who is a proven goal scorer in the league.
They play as guests to relegation threatened New Edubiase who will be without the services of Asiedu Attobrah but have the deadly twins of Alhassan Nuhu and Fuseini Nuhu to count on.The first meeting between both sides ended in a 2-2 stalemate.
