Some residential apartments at the Mallam Atta in Accra have been engulfed by fire.
Reports indicate the fire began at about 5 pm on Tuesday, which has resulted in damage.
No one has been burnt but the residents have lost some property.
Meanwhile, the Ghana National Fire Service says the situation is under control.
Although the initial cause of the fire is not known, the fire service say they will conduct an investigation into the matter.
Residents have, however, blamed the fire service for the delay in reaching the area.
But the service has denied the claims. They insisted that they received a distress call at 6:08 pm and reached the location at 6:16 pm.
Therefore, it is unfair to claim that the fire service delayed.
