Ghana Premier League side Dreams Football Club has announced the signing of former Al Ahly striker John Antwi ahead of the new season.
The highest-scoring foreigner in the Egyptian Premier League makes a return to Ghana to sign for the MTN FA Cup champions.
Antwi, before signing for Dreams was a free agent after leaving Jordanian club Al Faisaly.
“Dreams FC is delighted to announce and welcome ex-Black stars and Egyptian league record goal scorer the Still to Believe family,” the club wrote on their social media page.
The 31-year-old had stints with Pyramids FC of Egypt and Al Ahly during his time away from Ghana.
The experienced forward is expected to play a key role for the Still Believers who will be embarking on a quest to play in the group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup in the upcoming season.
Dreams' have been drawn against Guinean side Milo Football Club in the first round of qualifiers for the 2023/24 CAF Confederations Cup.
