Heart of Lions got back to winning form with a narrow 1–0 victory over Swedru All Blacks at the Kpando Stadium on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League.
A brilliant free-kick from Michael Ephson in the 33rd minute proved to be the difference, as the hosts ended a three-game winless streak.
The strike handed Lions an important lead that secured all three points for the Kpando based side.
The result moves Heart of Lions up from 12th to 10th on the league table with 33 points and pushes Swedru All Blacks into the relegation zone.
All Blacks have now gone three matches without a win and will be hoping to bounce back when they host Hohoe United on matchday 26.
Meanwhile, Heart of Lions will aim to continue their resurgence when they welcome Accra Hearts of Oak at the Kpando Stadium.
