The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has signed a partnership agreement with lottery company Rambell ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The partnership, which was supervised by the National Lottery Authority (NLA) will see fans battle for an opportunity to be among a selected group to go and watch the mundial in the USA, Canada and Mexico next year.
The announcement of the partnership took place at the GFA Secretariat on Tuesday, November 4, with key stakeholders gracing the occasion.
"Having ensured that Ghana will be at the Mundial, it's also important for us at the FA not to think about ourselves...but to think about the country, especially for those of you we called the 12th man," Kurt Okraku said.
"What that means is that for us to have qualified, we must always remember we didn't do it alone...We cannot take the team alone to the World Cup; the supporters must come along with us.
"In joint partnership with Rambell and the full support of the NLA, we have, today, an amazing opportunity to bring our supporters and bring our fans along on this amazing journey."
For fans who are interested in partaking in the product named the 'World Cup Bonanza,' they must purchase a ticket to be involved in the raffle through *899*899#.
Rambell is looking to take as many as 220 fans to the World Cup next year.
Fans who are drawn will get a subsidised flight, free accommodation, free match tickets for Ghana's three group games and full visa application support.
