German-born of Ghanaian descent, Ilyas Ansah, has revealed he has no plans of playing at the 2026 FIFA World Cup with the Black Stars.
The 21-year-old is rumoured to be among the players the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is keeping tabs on ahead of the global tournament.
However, Ansah, who has represented Germany at the junior level, says he is yet to decide which country he would want to play for at the senior level.
"After the U21 European Championship, I will look into next year and make a decision," he said through Tribuna.com.
"As things stand, I won't be going to the World Cup with Ghana."
Ilyas currently plies his trade in Germany with Union Berlin, where he has scored five goals and provided two assists in 26 games.
