Ghana beat hosts Nigeria on penalties in the ongoing 2021 Minifootball Nations Cup to reach the semi-finals of the ongoing nations Cup.
The game ended 1-1 in regular time as Ghana edged the shootout 2-1.
It is the first time Ghana is participating in the Minifootball Nations Cup.

Ghana picked seven points out of a possible 12, after beating Somalia and Ivory Coast. They only dropped points after drawing and losing to Burkina Faso and Egypt respectively.
Ghana by virtue of reaching the semi-final qualify to the minifootball World Cup which takes place next month in Ukraine.
Ghana will face Senegal or Ivory Coast in the semi-final of the competition.
