The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has indicated that two more lives have been lost in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
This brings the total number of deaths recorded, to 796 as of June 26.
The GHS, in its latest update noted that 85 new cases and 1,674 active cases have been reported nationwide.
With the additional cases reported, the total cases confirmed by the Ghana Health Service is, 95,914. Out of this number, 93,444 persons have recovered, hence discharged from the various health facilities.
Reports from the Kotoka International Airport reveals that 1,792 out of 1,862 who have tested positive for the virus have recovered.
Nineteen out of the cases recorded are said to be severe, while nine others are in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the GHS is admonishing members of the general public to continue adhering to the various safety Covid-19 protocols while awaiting the first and second jabs.
