Secretary of anti-galamsey task force who was caught on camera in investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ latest exposé has stepped aside.
Charles Bissue in a letter Friday said he is innocent of all the allegations of extortion in the ‘Galamsey Fraud’ documentary “as I was not and have not engaged in any acts of corruption, criminality or misconduct.”
He said he has informed the President and Environment Minister of his decision to step aside as investigations into the matter are being carried out.
