The Ghana Water Company is assuring residents living in and around Spintex, Accra, of water latest by Sunday.
The assurance follows complaints from residents that their taps have not been flowing for weeks.
Areas hardest hit include Coastal and Okpoi-Gonno where residents told Joy News reporters they have had to resort to expensive means to get water, including buying bagged water for major domestic chores.
Acting Managing Director of the Ghana Water Company, Kweku Botwe, who assured that the affected residents should expect water latest tomorrow, explained that the only reason why a community may not have water would be because they may be part of scheduled rationing exercise.
