Ghanaian wellness and cultural experience brand Hamamat has launched a new competition series, offering participants the chance to win a GH¢10,000 cash prize.
The competition series, which runs from August to December, will feature a number of challenges based on popular Ghanaian foods, games and cultural activities.
The challenges include ice cream eating, pepper eating, Ampe, Oware, suya and kebab eating, Jollof, ice block eating and other surprise competitions to be announced.

The first challenge, an ice cream and popsicle eating competition, was held at the Hamamat Wellness House in Accra over the weekend.
The event brought contestants together for an afternoon of competition, music and entertainment as participants battled to prove their endurance in the opening challenge.
The series is designed to give participants the opportunity to compete in individual challenges, qualify and work their way towards the GH¢10,000 grand prize.
According to the organisers, the concept is to transform familiar Ghanaian foods, games and cultural experiences into live entertainment that people can participate in and share.

Participants aged 16 years and above can take part, depending on the specific challenge. Those below 18 will require parental or guardian consent, while some competitions may be restricted to adults for safety reasons.
Competition rules and eligibility requirements will be announced for each challenge.
Interested participants are expected to follow Hamamat on social media for announcements and registration details.
The competition series forms part of Hamamat's broader focus on promoting Ghanaian culture and traditional experiences through its wellness and lifestyle brand.

Its experiences include the Shea Butter Museum, which showcases the history and culture of shea, and the Hamamat Wellness House, an African-inspired wellness and experience space in Accra.
The competition series seeks to build on these experiences by turning familiar activities such as eating, playing and traditional games into interactive entertainment.
The organisers are encouraging people to nominate friends and family members who they believe have the skills or endurance to take on the various challenges as the series continues through December.
