An Accra-based businessman and sports administrator, Mr Harry Zakkour, has dropped hints to enter-full-time politics joining the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2012 general election.
He said he wanted to start off by contesting for a parliamentary seat in Accra on the ticket of the NDC.
Mr Zakkour told Angel FM, a Kumasi based radio station, on Wednesday, that he had been a strong member of the NDC and would like to work with it in the 2012 elections.
"I tell you I am a key member of the NDC, a party I love so much," he told the station.
He said he had a lot to offer to Ghanaian politics, and people should look out for him in 2012.
Even though Mr Zakkour was speaking on a sports programme with focus on his club Accra Hearts of Oak, he decided to occasionally shift to politics, saying he was keen on becoming a Member of Parliament.
He used the opportunity to congratulate all the people who voted for the NDC to enable the party return to power.
