Hundreds of Ghanaians are killed every year through road accidents.
Between January and August this year alone the lives of close to 1500 Ghanaians were lost to road accidents.
Reckless driving, faulty traffic lights and bad roads are just some of the major causes of accidents.
There is also little investment in the institutions charged with the responsibility of ensuring safety on our roads.
In this Hotline documentary, Killer Roads, Kweku Owusu Peprah and Francisca Kakra Forson tell the story of the Donkors who lost two members of their family in an accident right in front of their home in Takoradi.
