Moved by the plight of survivors of June 3 flood and fire disaster in Accra, organizations keep streaming in at Joy FM to make a difference in the lives of the affected believed to be about 8,000.
Four organizations, a ports operations and maritime logistics company, RSMS, a West Legon-based school Brainy Bairn and engineering company, Process and Plants Automation and money lending company Magnet Money were at the premise of Joy FM to donate items for daily convenience and cash.
RSMS made a cash donation of 10,000 cedis and 50 bags of five kilogram rice. The package also included 20 cartons of Key Soap and a bale of used clothing.

Staff of RSMS played good Samaritan to survivors of Accra's twin disaster of fire and floods.
Officials of Brainy Bairn International School presented several packs of toiletries, noodles, bags of satchet water.

Officials of engineering company Process and Plant Automation donated provisions and water to mark their determination to make a difference.

Magnet Money Lending Company donated in excess of a 1,000 cedis towards the JOYFM relief initiative in support of the flood and fire victims.

Acting head of marketing of the company,Agartha Asare led a staff delegation to do the presentation received by Joy News' Beatrice Adu.
Joy FM has become a platform of choice to push relief items to the people who need it the most.
Residents at Adabraka and Cirlce were the worst hit during a fatal flooding disaster which was worsened in an explosion at a fuel station.
The dead are pegged at 152.
