Asante Kotoko boss Steven Polack could not contain his delight after his team secured the 2017 MTN FA Cup with a stunning 3-1 victory over arch-rivals Hearts of Oak.
The Porcupine Warriors were head and shoulders above the Phobians and raced into a three-nil first-half lead courtesy striker Saddick Adams.

Hearts came back strongly in the second half but their efforts could only earn them a consolation goal courtesy Thomas Abbey.
In a post-match interview, Polack was full of praise for his Kotoko players.
“Cup finals is a one-off game and I’m very proud of my players especially with their good attitude, it’s has been like that since I have been here and in training, this week and they brought it into the game and I think we deserved to win this game.
“I’m satisfied with the way things have ended this season, it could have been better but to finish this season with a trophy am really happy about that and I think we deserve it,” Polack added.
With this triumph, Kotoko will be the sole representative for Ghana in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
