Mas-Ud 'Didi' Dramani has hinted that Kotoko were wrong to axe him four months ago.
Dramani fell short of blaming new man David Duncan and believes Kotoko's problems are more systemic.
Having won back-to-back league titles with the Reds, Dramani was bundled out last February, just seven games into the new season. The official reason was for under-performance. But many felt the decision was ill-timed as the coach had said many times that his team's dip was temporary after dominating for so long.
“All that I want to say is that if you fail to identify a problem, it is difficult to solve it,” Dramani says.
Although he's never gone into specifics, the former U17 national team coach appears to have been vinidicated because of the current shambolic state of the team.
Try as he might, Duncan has been unable to inspire a revival, despite starting with a few good results following Dramani's departure.
Dramani told Sports Crusader: "[Kotoko's current struggles now] are not my concern. My concern was that if really I was the problem then it was better for me to leave. It is important for you to find the problem and know its roots."
Didi won five trophies in two seasons with the Porcupine Warriors.
