Exhibitors, patrons and sponsors of the maiden Luv Fm Beauty and Bridal Fair in Kumasi have hailed the organizers, describing the event as a huge success.
“We sure did exceed our target and we’re so excited about it. If the fair comes up again next year, we’ll be the first to sign up”, exclaimed one exhibitor.
Hundreds of residents trooped to the Golden Tulip, Kumasi City, to be part of the three-day exhibition, which offered a one stop-shop for prospective couples and others to access bridal goods and services.
Over thirty exhibitors participated in the Fair, majority of whom were impressed with the patronage and enquiries as well as the business and social contacts.
The married, couples-to-be and ‘still-searching’ all shared in the fun of the moment.
Patrons were treated to free wine-tasting, hair styling, facials, pedicure and manicure, and other goodies from exhibitors and sponsors.
A surprised mock wedding and fashion/modeling show attracted the interest of many, whilst the marriage seminar with some seasoned family counselors added value to the Fair.
Pastor Ransford Obeng of the Calvary Charismatic Centre (CCC), who officially opened the Fair, entreated couples to learn to understand one another.
“No one is an angel even if you marry a Pastor,” he said. “But if we learn to understand [and appreciate] one another, we’ll be able to make it. Always focus on the strength of your other partner and I think that will bring you together”.
The Bridal Fair was a partnership between Luv Fm and Golden Tulip, Kumasi City.
Sales and Marketing Manager at Luv Fm, Isaac Antwi, is excited at the outcome of the maiden fair as he looks forward to a better and bigger one in 2012.
“We’ve had an impressive crowd coming here and I think we’ve had good feedback from the exhibitors as well and the patrons are excited and for me that’s the most important thing,” he said.
The Fair, which is modeled after the Joy Bridal Fair in Accra is expected to be a annual event in the Garden City.
