The maiden edition of the Multi TV Auto Show has opened at the Ghana International Trade Fair Center at La here in Accra.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Sales and Marketing Manager of Multi TV, McBen Adu-Asamoah said “the concept of the MultiTV Auto Show came about as a result of our interactions with the automobile industry in our efforts to offer above the line Marketing solutions to enhance their sales and facilitate their engagements with customers and prospective customers”.
He explained that following these interactions, “we realized that there were few gaps between the dealers and the very customers they are trying to attract as a result of limited information ranging from financing, acquisition and maintenance which will aid their purchasing decision especially on the part of individual buyers. Though there may have been some few auto exhibitions held in the past, platforms to address these pertinent issues were not available and possibly awareness was not that impressive”.
The Multi TV Auto Show is designed to bridge the gaps identified in the automobile industry by bringing stakeholders and prospective automobile owners together at a common forum to network and exchange ideas.
According to Mr. Adu-Asamoah, “the International Trade Fair Center La, will serve as a convergence point for all stakeholders in the automobile industry to welcome customers and prospective customers to network as well as make purchases”.
He expressed optimism “that the various questions in the minds of the public will be answered here and also information and facilities required for making decisions to own a car and or to acquire upgrades of our favorite car models would be provided here”.
A wide range of cars are on display at Pavilions A and B of the International Trade Fair Center till Sunday November 20, 2011.
