Division one side Nania FC handed a shock penalty defeat to Premier League Champions Berekum Chelsea to qualify for the finals of the MTN FA cup played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Sunday.
Abedi Pele’s side secured the crucial dream final after 120 minutes of grueling football which ended 2-2 after extra time.
A late superb free-kick deep into extra-time denied Chelsea a crucial final and shattering their dream of double silver ware this season.
Nania will play the winner of the second semi-final clash between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Medeama FC.
The winner of the MTN FA Cup automatically qualifies for the Caf Confederations Cup.
Nania will be hoping to make history by being the first Division 1 side to win the improved FA Cup and qualify for the Confederations Cup.
