As part of preparations towards his testimonial game to be played on June 27 at the Accra sports Stadium, ex-Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah paid a courtesy call on National Chief Imam, Sheikh Nuhu Osman Sharubutu on Wednesday to officially invite him.
Tornado Appiah adds to his tall list special guests which include former Presidents, Jerry John Rawlings and John Agyekum Kufour as well as Bishop Sam Korankye Ankrah for his final football match.
Appiah expressed his gratitude after the National chief IMAM's acceptance.
Appiah was accompanied by officials of Primeval Media who are organizing the testimonial match, Laryea Kingston, GFA spokesman Ibrahim Sannie-Daara and a host of reporters.
A fundraising dinner at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Accra on June 26 will herald the testimonial match at the Accra Sports stadium on June 27.
