A notorious armed robber wanted by the police for several high-profile robberies is said to have escaped arrest last night after a brief shoot out with the police.
ASP Cyprian Zenge told to Joy News the robber known as Rabio escaped with injuries and is therefore appealing to the public to assist the police apprehend him.
He said police investigations had indicated the suspect was involved in, and responsible for, serious robbery offences.
