They include Ledzokuku in the Greater Accra Region, Wa East and Nadowli in the Upper West region.
Deputy Upper West Regional Director of Health Dr Kofi Issah said the region is intensifying efforts to check a spread.
He said his outfit is embarking on both reactive and preventive mass vaccination campaign to check the spread of the deadly disease and to safeguard the health of all.
According to him, the Upper West Region has taken custody of 255,000 vaccines to be administered on 237,500 people in some of the districts in the region.
He said his outfit would use different strategies to vaccinate the people, by moving from place to place to cover all persons.
He explained all persons above the age of one year, except pregnant women, are expected to undertake the vaccination.
Once vaccinated, it would take ten days for the vaccination to start working, Dr Issah noted, adding, anybody who is vaccinated is free from the disease for a period of ten years.

She named fever, jaundice as some of the symptoms of the disease.
