Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta

Parliament's Appointments Committee today, March 25, 2021, vetted Finance Minister-designate, Ken Ofori-Atta.
This follows the continues re-scheduling of the exercise since February, 2021.
Mr. Ofori-Atta, the only nominee left on the list of ministers appointed by President Akufo-Addo, could not be vetted with his colleagues due to some health implications.
The former Finance Minister, who is retaining his portfolio was subsequently flown to the US to seek further medical care.
At today's vetting, Mr. Ofori-Atta answered questions on the Agyapa Deal which has been in contention since it was presented to Parliament.
