The police in the Ashanti Region now say they are limiting investigations into a row between two pastors to an alleged assault on a complainant.Self-styled evangelist Frank Annor reported on Saturday he had been assaulted after he demanded payment for allegedly planting a variety of items intended to embarrass another evangelist in Kumasi, Ebenezer Adarkwah Yiadom. He alleged that the head pastor of God’s Way International Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, contracted him to bury the items.Although police have questioned Reverend Obinim on the matter, the District Police Commander for Suame, DSP Kweku Duah, tells Joy News he is not the focus of the investigation.“We are investigating those people who inflicted cutlass wounds on the complainant,” DSP Duah said. The police boss also dismissed initial reports that the buried items which have since been retrieved included human bones and skulls.Source: Myjoyonline.com
