President John Mahama has nominated nine persons as deputy regional ministers designate.
They include Samuel Yaw Adusei, Ashanti Region; Justice Samuel Adjei, Brong Ahafo Region; Queenstar Pokua Sawyerr, Central Region; Mavis Ama Frimpong, Eastern Region; Isaac Nii Djanmah Vanderpuye, Greater Accra Region; Daniel Awenyue Syme, Upper East Region; Abu Kabiebata Kansangbata, Upper West Region; Francis Ganyaglo, Volta Region and Alfred Ekow Gyan, Western Region.
A statement signed by Dr Raymond A. Atuguba, Executive Secretary to the president Sunday, said the appointments were done in accordance with article 256(2) of the 1992 Constitution.
