President John Dramani Mahama has in furtherance to his Critical Policy Actions outlined last month, appointed a new Acting Chairperson for the Greater Accra Regional Lands Commission.
A statement from the Presidency and signed by Secretary to the President, J. K. Bebaako-Mensah said Nene Atsure Benta III, Mankralo of the Prampram Traditional Area, replaces the current Chairman “and his appointment takes immediate effect.”
President Mahama has also directed the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources to ensure that the National Lands Commission exercises “a closer and effective supervision of all Regional Lands Commissions.”
