Prison Ladies have been crowned champions of the 2017 Sanford Women's FA Cup competition after beating holders Police Ladies 1-0 in the final on Saturday.
Silvia Amankwa who was adjudged the overall best player of the competition scored the only goal to give Prison Ladies their first major trophy.
For their reward, Prisons Ladies took home GHc 10,000 with Police Ladies pocketing GHc 8,000 from sponsors Sandford
The knockout competition was introduced by the Ghana Football Association last year and received sponsorship from Sanford World Clinics.
