In modern-day Ghana where a lot of strides are being made to improve upon healthcare, it is sad to come across communities where inhabitants have to survive on very dirty streams as their only source of water.

The roads to these places are in such terrible state it is hard to believe one is still in the nation’s topmost region.
In light of these challenges, The Royal Bank Foundation has constructed boreholes for five communities in the Ga West and South municipalities.
This is the first in the Foundation’s drive to construct fifty boreholes to provide potable water to needy communities within a year.
Chairman of the Royal Bank Foundation, Faustell Cofie told Joy Business the company is committed to giving back to the communities within which it operates.
He says the bank would be going to other needy areas in the various regions to ensure the ready supply of good potable water.
The beneficiary communities are Oduntia, Akramaman, Obeyeyie, Trekukope and Horkupe.
