Popular radio preacher in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis, Nana Nkwantabisa, has been allegedly stabbed to death by a taxi driver.
The bizarre incident occurred during a highway brawl between the two which resulted in the untimely death of the pastor.
The driver is currently on the run.
According to eye-witnesses, the incident happened at Race Course Junction around Appremdo at about 9 pm on Monday.
The deceased, about 40 years, who also own a Church at Assakae, was driving a Benz saloon when he picked a quarrel with the taxi driver as to who had the right of the way.
In the ensuing exchanges, the taxi driver was said to have pulled a knife from his car and stabbed the pastor on the chest.
Onlookers quickly moved to the scene and rushed the pastor, who was bleeding profusely, to the Jemimah Hospital at Kwesimintsim but he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The body has since been deposited at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Meanwhile, the police have mounted a man hunt for the taxi driver.
