Season V of the educational reality TV show, The Challenge, has been launched at the Alisa Hotel in Accra. Encouraging and rewarding excellence in academics, the show also honours creativity and a passion for continuous professional and leadership development of Ghana's youth. Winners of the competition can boast of acquiring higher education in top United Kingdom universities such as Robert Gordon University, University of Salford and University of Northampton. Season V of The Challenge comes with very competitive business, leadership, creative, entrepreneurship, charity and entertainment tasks to be carried out by contestants vying for the ultimate prize - a full board scholarship worth £35,000 (first and second runner-ups get same) and a cash prize of £5,000 pounds. Scheduled to begin on September 14, 2013 at the British Council in Accra, the show will air on television immediately after.
