Three Ghanaian female pilgrims are to be deported later Tuesday 9th October, 2012, after investigations by Saudi authorities revealed they got there with fake visas.The women, whose names are yet to be given, are reported to have been detained in Saudi Arabia, hours after they were airlifted from Accra on Monday.The National Hajj Committee which confirmed the incident said the women involved were detained because they were not traveling with National Hajj Committee.Public Relations Officer Alhaji Halidu Haruna said the visas in question did not belong to the Committee while the agent involved has been identified by the Committee.
He assured that investigations will be conducted on the identity of the said agent whose name has not been disclosed yet, and prosecuted where necessary.
