A TV Africa cameraman has been attacked while covering the alleged conspiracy case involving two pastors based in Kumasi, Bishop Daniel Obinim and Reverend Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom.
Osei Kwaku Junior was assaulted by two junior pastors of the International God’s Way Church whose Founder is alleged to have hired some men to bury snakes and suspected human bones on the premises of a rival church.
Heavily charged men pounced on him claiming they had information one of the journalists covering proceedings at the police station had reported the issue on air.
The cameraman’s crime was that he was taking shots of the crowd which had gathered at the police station where the suspects had reported in response to a police order.
It took the intervention of some eye witnesses and the TV Africa reporter to rescue the cameraman from further attacks.
