A vehicle belonging to the Assistant Headmistress of the Wa Secondary Technical has been reportedly burnt.
The school was closed down about two weeks ago following student disturbances.
The students went on the rampage to demand the dismissal of the assistant headmistress, Mary Asempa Takurah.
Last night some unidentified men set her vehicle ablaze ahead of the school’s reopening today.
The embattled assistant headmistress who narrated the incident to Joy News, said she was sleeping when a visitor alerted her that there was smoke billowing outside her home and when they rushed out, her vehicle was on fire.
“Actually the students had planned to burn my car and my house so if my car has been burnt, my first suspicion should be [that the] students [did it],” he said.
The case she said has been reported to the police.
