The Former President John Mahama has asked his former appointees to be proud of their efforts because, in his view, his government did a lot to elevate the country in various phases.
“In the monumental achievements that we chalked, I believe that you must hold your heads high because that government did a lot for this country and I believe that posterity will be the judge eventually.
He said at a recent meeting with former appointees of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that during his tenure, government did a lot to improve the infrastructure of the country noting "often infrastructure is a thing people take for granted."
“It is possible to be in the opposition and criticize. We should not feel depressed or feel ashamed about our service in government was outstanding. We must continue to defend that legacy of that government," he added.
With the NDC re-evaluating its failure at the last election to recapture power in 2020, he charged them to “regroup, refocus and go back into battle.”
