Finance and Economic Planning Minister Dr. Kwabena Duffour presents the 2011 budget statement on the floor of Parliament Thursday.
Already there are hints of what the budget will be christened depending on which side of the political divide one belongs to.
The budget will be under the theme "Stimulating Growth and Development for Job Creation" but opposition elements have other ideas.
Some say it's a "Fear and panic budget" whilst others say it is "Amina budget."

Finance Minister D. Duffuor walks into the floor at 11:30 am accompanied by his deputy Fiifi Kwetey to begin what is expected to be a long presentation of the 2011 policy framework
He starts by moving a motion and begins his presentation at 11:45
Economy has shown strong resilience and stability as shown by macro economic indicators
Inflation has reduced consistently over a period of 16 months and is now at 9.6 per cent.
Has returned the economy to a path of sustainable growth.
Oil will further ensure sustainable growth
Will transition the economy from stability to accelerated growth
The 2010 will ensure equity and fairness in salary administration.
Major challenge will be how to use the oil for economic growth without sacrificing stability, but government will manage the oil in an efficient manner.
Achievements
Education
175 School blocks were constructed across the country to replace schools under trees. 165 contracts have been awarded.
23 million exercise books supplied to school children.
23.8 million paid as capitation grant.
50 million spent on school feeding programme under which 670,000 pupils benefited.
This is to give true meaning to the free compulsory education.
Health
Five polyclinics have been completed in Kpandai, Tatale, Chereponi Karaga
21 health centres were also completed across the country.
Energy
253 rural communities have been supplied with electricity.
Provision of street lights, at Tema, Ho, Wa has been completed whilst work is underway in Accra and Kumasi.
The building of the 40 megawatts hydroelectric power generator at Bui is 32 per cent completed.
Development of Jubilee Fields for the production of oil is well on track.
The Minister completed the budget presentation at 14:00 GMT after almost two hours and thirty minutes, punctuated with cheers and boos from the back benchers of the House
