Ivorian referee Abou Coulibaly has been appointed by the Confederation of African football(CAF) to handle the CAF U23 Championships qualifier between Ghana’s Black Meteors and Congo Brazzaville on May 23 at the Tamale Stadium.
The 29-year-old referee will be assisted by other country men on the lines namely Mamadou Sherif Bogbe and Kouame Gabriel Kangaha.
Coulibaly who officiated the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Nigeria and DR Congo and will be handling his first game in the U-23 Championships qualifiers.
Ghana take on Congo Brazzaville in the first leg qualifier of the first round for the CAF U23 Championships at the Tamale Sports Stadium on Saturday.
