Quickly taken but well defended and Ghana switch from defence into Attack with Solomon Asante tearing off from his markers. He is brought down heavily.1839 Its still 1-1 in the Mali- DR Congo game. Mali qualifies together with Ghana in the group if the score line remains the same.1835 Gyan out Clottey in for Ghana1833 Rabiu pulls off a great save. He has been on holidays for most part of the second half. He palmed away a goal bound shot.1830 Derek Boateng comes in for Rabiu Mohammed.1819 Back to the Ghana game and its Gyan again who miss two glorious opportunities. GOAL!!!!! 1715 Elsewhere in the other Group B game which is being played concurrently, DR Congo and Mali are tied 1-1 after just 15 minutes.1710 The Nigerians react rather quickly. They win a corner which is converted deep and Fatau Dauda spills in the air after a little shove behind. The Nigerian striker whips it in FOR A GOAL but their jubilation is cut shot. Referee judges that as a foul on Fatau Dauda.1707 After just 7 minutes Captain Asamoah Gyan put the Black Stars ahead with a well taken goal. GOAL!!!
