The New Patriotic Party (NPP) congratulated the senior National Team, the Black Stars of Ghana, for qualifying to semi final stage of the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in South Africa.
The NPP in a statement commended the team for their outstanding performance, sportsmanship and successes chalked so far.
“Football has always united us as a nation, and this is no exception. We urge the national team to fight on and bring the Cup home.
“We wish the Stars well in their upcoming games, and also urge all Ghanaians to show commitment and support for them to achieve more laurels and continue to stand tall on the continent of Africa and beyond”.
