The Black Satellites will be based in Novarello Villagio, Novara where they will trim the rough edges for the tournament in Algeria next month.
Head coach Sellas Tetteh will have the opportunity of testing his team’s battle readiness against the youth teams of Inter Milan, Novara and AC Milan.
The training camp has been put together by Accra-based Sports Management and Player Agency firm, Arthur Legacy.
“We want the best for the team and this camping exercise will fortify them,” CEO of Arthur Legacy Oliver Arthur told MTNFootball.
“I believe by the time the team play the U-20 teams of AC Milan, Inter and Novara, they will be in good form for the tournament.”
Ghana will fly from their camping base to Algeria for the African Championship which begins on 16 March.
The 2009 World Champions must must progress from Group A comprising hosts Algeria, Egypt and Benin to qualify to the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey this June.
The Black Satellites failed to defend the African title they won in 2009 at the last championship in South Africa two years ago where they suffered a first round elimination.
