Coach of Asante Kotoko Mas-Ud Didi Dramani wants his players to avoid complacency as they battle to qualify to the next stage of the CAF Champions league money Zone despite their good start.
The Porcupine Warriors got their CAF Champions league campaign to a flying start with a 7-0 defeat to Sony Ela Nguema at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
By virtue of the heavy defeat handed to the Equatorial Guinea side, Kotoko has been tipped to get an easy passage to the next stage but Coach Didi Dramani in an interview with JOY Sports noted that, his team must fight hard in the second leg.
“I think we still have to plan now that we know their strength, we will watch the clip and do more for the return match”, said Coach Dramani
“Yes we won 7-0 but there is no room for complacency because they are a good side so we will continue to work hard and go there for a positive result”
The Porcupine Warriors will meet either JSM Bejaia of Algeria or Niger’s FC Olympic de Niamey in the next round if they advance from the return leg next month in Malabo.
